Timeline & History

La Nueva Paciencia was the first and only General
Store in Valledupar offering national and imported goods from
Europe such as German acordeons, scissors, knives; French
Colognes, American shoes & clothing.
The Arhuaco Indians would buy their machetes and the cotton
hilazas used to make their clothing. Jacob M. Luque would buy
produce from them. Martha Bowen through Latin Organics is following
the foot steps of her grandfather continuing the almost century old
trade relationship that Jacob M. Luque started. Now -Premium Organic
Colombian coffee beans and Hand made crafts are traded directly by
Latin Organics.
In our thoughts we saw the need to help countries in
development. We added this need, to our strong Latin American roots
and so we created Latin Organics.
Latin Organics is able to focus on creating all the logistics
necessary that will help guarantee the well being of the people of
Latin America involved with social responsible practices. We take
care of our customers by providing them with exceptional, unique
and always nutritious products. We monitor carefully our business
decisions by analyzing the impact that they may have on our
employees, shareholders and the sustainability of the planet for
generations to come.
Moving forward, Latin Organics has opened its flagship café. A
place where our customers and partners can come by to chill and
learn more about what we do and learn why their support is vital.
Vancouver is one of the world's most beautiful cities. No better
place could have been chosen for this Café.
